Many users today care deeply about privacy and want to control what personal information their apps store.
If you use Ecosia as your main mobile browser, you may notice that it sometimes offers to save your address for autofill.
While this can be convenient, you might prefer to disable it for better security and privacy.
Start by unlocking your phone and tapping on the Ecosia app icon to open it.
Once the app is open, look to the top-right corner of the screen and tap on the three-dot menu.

From the drop-down menu, tap Settings to access all privacy, browsing, and autofill features.

In the Settings menu, scroll until you see Addresses and more.
This is where Ecosia manages saved addresses and autofill options.

Inside the Addresses menu, you’ll find the option called Save and fill addresses. Simply toggle the switch off.

Once disabled, Ecosia will no longer save or autofill your personal addresses on websites.
Disabling the autofill feature in Ecosia is a quick and effective way to protect your privacy.
Now that you’ve turned off “Save and fill addresses,” your browser will no longer store or auto-complete your personal details.
