If your Windows 10 PC feels slower than usual, one common reason is background apps using up system resources.

Many users notice that the Yandex Browser continues running even after closing it, which can affect startup time, memory usage, and overall performance.

The first step is to access the Windows Task Manager, which allows you to control apps that run at startup.

Right-click on the taskbar and select “Task Manager,” or simply press Ctrl + Shift + Esc on your keyboard to open it instantly.

Once Task Manager is open, look at the top menu and click the Startup tab.

This section shows all the applications that automatically run when your PC starts.

Scroll through the list of startup apps until you find Yandex Browser.

Once you locate it, right-click on Yandex Browser and select Disable.

Stopping Yandex Browser from running in the background on Windows 10 is simple and helps improve your computer’s speed and efficiency.

Remember to check your startup apps regularly to keep unnecessary programs from slowing down your system.

If you ever want to enable Yandex Browser again at startup, you can return to Task Manager and click Enable.
