If you’ve decided to leave TikTok, the app gives you the option to permanently delete your account. This guide will show you step by step how to remove your TikTok account for good.
Open the TikTok app on your phone.
Tap the three lines at the top right corner of the screen.
Select Settings and Privacy.
Go to Account.
Tap Deactivate or Delete Account.
Choose Delete Account Permanently.
Tap Skip at the top right corner if you don’t want to provide a reason.
Check the box to confirm you understand the consequences, then tap Continue.
Tap Continue again when prompted.
Enter the 6-digit code sent to your registered email by TikTok.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm your choice by tapping Delete one final time.
Deleting your TikTok account is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Make sure you’ve backed up any important videos before completing the process. Once confirmed, your account and all related data will be removed.
